Why I Cut Speech Class Everyday

It might be the end of the work week for some of you and you’re thinking about how you can forget about anything related to work for the next couple days.

But don’t forget to think about your dreams!

Sometimes we think things that scare us (causing FEAR), as something in the present or the future.

Whether you have a distant or more immediate vision of your life, it might be the past that is holding you back from actually getting sh*t done.

Does this scenario sound familiar?

You decide to change your life by going to the local gym and start on the path of health and fitness.

Things are going great but you tweak your knee and you wisely take a few days off to recover.

You put off going to the doc to get it checked out because you don’t have the time.

But now your return to the gym turns into weeks, months and then a whole year.

Eventually, you get back to your old habits of eating late at night, not drinking water, and hard partying. In the back of your mind, it’s not what you want but it’s easy and everyone else is doing it.

This FEAR of coming up against another setback is controlling you.

FEAR of the doctor, who in the past has told you things that you didn’t agree with or did more harm than good.

FEAR of the doctor, who in the past has told you things that you didn’t agree with or did more harm than good.

FEAR of heading back to the gym because of the possibility of hurting your knee again.

When I was a junior in high school, speaking in public was one of my biggest hang ups (and also one of the top 3 FEARS known to humans), so I “cut out” an entire semester of speech class so that I didn’t have to face this FEAR.

The fact that I didn’t overcome this major fear haunted me for a long time until I decided I wasn’t  going to let my past dictate my future.

My career of fighting and being an entrepreneur has put me in uncomfortable positions where I have learned to adapt and overcome.

I’m not great at public speaking yet, but I am working on it diligently so that I can get my message out to you and the world.

Speaking on video or to a live crowd is a FEAR that I am MOTIVATED to develop, have the EXPECTATION of becoming the best that I can and VISUALIZE myself building champions of life across the globe.

Now LISTEN, because this is one of the most important things I am ever going to tell you:

FEAR can and always will lose to a calculated game plan that starts in your mind.

I challenge you to decide NOW to fight FEAR with all of your HEART to win at life!

Champ Up!
