How To Visualize To Win Battles

Do you “see” a future for yourself?

It is NOT a secret that successful folk from ALL walks of life understand the power of visualizing what they WANT in their life.

So, to start your week off heading in the right direction, you can use weapon #2 right NOW!

#2- Put forth a VISION

In your mind, imagine in a vivid way how the rest of your day will go; see the positive outcome that you WANT, not what you DON’T WANT.

Contrary to what you may believe, you do HAVE control over your thoughts, visions, dreams, and ideas.

It does take some effort to put this tool to work but from many experiences in my life, (I have “walked the walk“) I can guarantee you will see a difference once you change your mindset.

As an unknown amateur in the NYC Muay Thai scene in the earlier part of this millennium, I was on the constant hunt to make a name for myself.

I had already fought a good number of 3 round fights and had found some momentum in the game.

It was time to make the jump to 5 round fights, so my team and I agreed to fight another local guy who was just coming off a WKA National Title tournament win, making him the “the man” to beat.

The fight was going to take place in the sub-basement of a boxing gym in downtown NYC. Most of my amateur career, my team and I were the “underdogs” coming to prove ourselves at any show, and this fight was no different.

With ALL the confidence and competence that our team developed, I still showed up to fight with much nervous energy, contemplating how I was going to WIN.

This is where, for the 1st time, I realized and used positive visualization before going into battle. Instead of pacing back and forth wondering about what my opponent was going to do to me, I spent my energy on shadowboxing and “seeing” myself dominating Why Yevery round of the fight.

The movements in my mind were clear and precise.

envisioned every round, even before the fight happened, to give me an accurate goal and direction for the outcome that I wanted that night.

Just as I saw it in my head warming up before the fight, in reality, I was able to dominate and impose my will over the opposition until he could NOT continue the fight.

The fight was stopped in the corner between the 4th and 5th round.

My 1st scheduled 5 round fight was a success!!

NOT due to being a better fighter, as my opponent was very skilled, but due to the fact that I created a clear mission in my head, beingready, willing and able to complete it. I was blessed to have found the way to let my MIND take over my BODY and SOUL.

This is NOT just something that I can do!

This is something YOU can do TODAY, and it’s NOT just for fighting.

This works for EVERYTHING in your life.

Here is the way to start:

-Sit down with no distractions (peace and quiet)

-maybe listen to some choice music

-“see” a scenario in your head playing out in YOUR favor.

***BE A VICTOR not a victim.

“Focus on what you WANT, not what you DON’T WANT.

Put forth a VISION of your day, week, year and LIFE to guide you in the direction that YOU choose.

Champ Up!!
