We ALL have it in our lives.

It is a primal emotion that protects us from REAL danger.

But ask yourself, “what is real danger?”

I read something recently about FEAR…there are only 3 things to fear in life:

-a wild animal

-a deranged human being

-falling to your death

Everything else is manifested in your own head.

ALL OTHER FEARS WON’T KILL YOU.

Those other FEARS can be controlled by your thoughts.

With proper thinking, most FEAR can be used as a tool to help you!

Remember, FEAR is an emotion that can do 2 things to you, but it is always up to you which choice you want.

YOU decide to let FEAR motivate

or

YOU decide to let FEAR freeze you

As a kid, I was bullied by classmates, mugged in the streets, and physically abused by a 4th grade teacher.

So FEAR of confrontation set-in pretty early in my life.

I stood up and challenged it, only to FAIL one last time, where I decided I wasn’t going to to let FEAR control me anymore.

It was in that moment that I declared to not let FEAR freeze me.

Fast forward, after a career of 40+ fights in the ring,  I’ve learned how to use FEAR to pull me through some of the toughest challenges of my life.

YOU can decide NOW to fight FEAR!

If you keep this thought in mind, feel how you will control this emotion:

FEAR is False Expectations Appearing Real.

Expectations are all self made thoughts in YOUR head.

It’s NOT a gun to your head.

It’s NOT a pack of hyena chasing you down for a meal.

It’s NOT slipping off a scaffolding 15 stories up on to a crowded city street.

YOU have control over what you expect, so DECIDE NOW that you will use FEAR to motivate you to:

-get out of that job you can’t stand

-talk to that person you’ve been avoiding

-or make the change that WILL bring the happiness that you’ve been looking for

Challenge yourself to fight FEAR everyday this week.
