What’s Your Problem?

YOU don’t have a problem, YOU have a challenge.

Yes, choice of words is super important, if you’ve been following some of my past emails.

So what is your CHALLENGE right now?

Your kid is making the mistakes that you spent most of your adult life steering him/her away from. Some of them are the very same mistakes you’ve made, so you understand but you are still disappointed in the decisions.

You’ve worked for years at a job/career, hoping to climb the ladder of success, only to find out that the ceiling is lower than when you started. So your finances are not where you want them and your feel stifled.

You resolved to get in shape in 2017, but March hasn’t even started yet and you’ve got too much on your plate.

That dream you had in college is still in the back of your mind, but something always comes up, not enough time, not enough money, you don’t know how to start.

Whatever the CHALLENGE is right now, most likely it started as a SIMPLE idea, but just like life, it wasn’t meant to be EASY!

So here is a SIMPLE tip:

If you want a better life, build a better YOU.

-stop wasting time on binge watching your favorite Netflix series. Read or listen to something to inspire, motivate or educate you. ***GET MOVING***

-instead of eating fast food 7 days out of the week, start cutting it down to 4 days, then a month later, 3 days a week, until finally you’ve created a habit of “treating” yourself to a fast food meal once a week.

-have that crucial conversation with a loved one that you’ve been putting off…it will HURT, it will be AWKWARD, it will be WORTH it, because it was a fear you conquered, and YOU just got stronger by doing it. Regardless of the outcome, YOU stepped up and made the effort.

Again, these tips aren’t EASY by any means, but they are SIMPLE to grasp.

As a fighter, father, husband and son I had, and still battle, many challenges in life. But I took the first step over 10 years ago to become a better person. I joined a self development program to help me deal with a troubled past, that left me blaming everyone around me. But the blame was hitting the wrong people, I learned to step up and take ALL responsibility for the events in my life and redirect it to myself.

Don’t get me wrong, I know life happens.

But the way you choose to deal and handle it, is always up to YOU.

YOUR mind and YOUR thoughts will make you a VICTIM or aVICTOR!

The world around you doesn’t get better by just wishing and hoping.

It gets better when you make the decision and take the first step in becoming a better you.

Do the research to find the way to become STRONGER, because life ain’t EASY.

Again, SIMPLE not EASY.

Champ Up!!
